    http://www.newcomicreviews.com/cgi-bin/eAuction161/eAuction.pl?lang=1
I have been wading through the LJ communities and putting this link up on anyone that has anything to do with comics. The deal is that these fine people are putting great stuff up to bid on and every dime you drop goes to help the people who got hit by Hurricane Katrina, The more dough you spend the more people you help and the more cool shit you get

DEVIL’S DUE’S HACK/SLASH PLAY ‘STAGEFRIGHT’ BY NMTC BEGINS
NMTC starts your haunting season early!

Chicago, IL – Aug 25, 2005 – Slashers. You know the genre....some masked nut case chases down and creatively murders a group of attractive teenagers with poor decision making skills, who have somehow unleashed the killer's repressed psychosexual anger. Pretty standard fare, right? But what if the last survivor of the massacre, the girl that makes it out alive, decides to take matters in her own hands and hunt down the Slashers herself?

That’s the premise of the hit horror comic book ‘Hack/Slash’ from Chicago’s Devil’s Due Publishing that New Millennium Theatre Company has brought screaming to life on stage. Fresh from its world premiere at the Flashback Weekend Horror Convention where it received rave reviews from the likes of Ted Raimi (Evil Dead, Xena: Warrior Princess) “Really Great! Really Funny!”, HACK/SLASH: STAGEFRIGHT is a multimedia"fright fest featuring digitally projected backdrops from the actual comic books (think: the Sin City movie on stage), blockbuster fight scenes, scantily clad coeds and plenty of splattering blood (there are special ‘blood seats’ in the theater where you WILL get sprayed!). HACK/SLASH: STAGEFRIGHT is truly a one-of-a-kind stage experience, perfect for horror movie fans or anyone who likes a good scare!

The cast of HACK/SLASH: STAGEFRIGHT includes Stefani Bishop, Adam Mack, Jason Bone, Gina Ferenzi, Paul Czarnowski, Guy Schingoethe, Jenna Schmidt, Don Alsafi, Jenny Myers, Ellen Domonokos & Matt Russell. Directed by Chad Wise. Assistant Director: Laura Coleman. Hack/Slash created by Tim Seeley.

All performances are at the National Pastime Theater, 4139 N. Broadway, between Irving Park & Montrose. The show will run September 23rd - October 29th, Fridays and Saturdays at 10:30 pm. Tickets are $15 general admission and are available at the door or call 773-989-4515, http://www.nmtchicago.org/.

    ABOUT DEVIL'S DUE PUBLISHING (DDP)
Devil's Due Publishing was formed in 1999 as both a commercial art studio and a small press comic book publisher. DDP's first breakout success was 2001's revamp of G.I. Today, DDP's lineup includes Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance, eigoMange, Hack/Slash and the Aftermath universe, a new imprint featuring super-powered heroes in titles like Defex, Breakdown, Blade of Kumori and Infantry.

DEVIL’S DUE TITLES SELL OUT - Second printings on tap for G.I. Joe and Blade of Kumori
Devil’s Due Publishing (DDP) is pleased to announce that several issues of its popular comic books have sold out, continuing a trend of strong sell-through by the G.I. Joe and Aftermath lines. G.I. JOE #37, G.I. JOE RELOADED #10 and BLADE OF KUMORI #2 each sold out their print runs last week. A second printing of each title will be offered by DDP, each featuring a new cover.

BLADE OF KUMORI #2, written by Ron Marz, continues the tale of present-day samurai carrying on their honor-bound traditions in the modern world. The protagonist, the young female samurai Kumori, is asked to kill a man for the first time in this issue, furthering her self-discovery that she is something more than a warrior—perhaps even something more than human.

In chapter two of "Union of the Snake" featured in G.I. JOE #37, creators Brandon Jerwa and Tim Seeley introduce a major new character to the G.I. Joe mythos, General Philip Rey. This storyline will end explosively, with major repercussions that will be felt by both the Joes and Cobra, and will ultimately lead into an even larger storyline. G.I. JOE RELOADED #10 is the first issue written by new series writer, Chuck Dixon.

"These titles represent the success of two different sides of Devil’s Due," said Josh Blaylock, President of DDP. "On one side, you have the continuing success of our licensed properties, G.I. Joe being our biggest and baddest example. On the other side you have our newly created superhero line, Aftermath, picking up new fans everywhere. And with such talented writers as Ron Marz, Marv Wolfman, Chuck Dixon and Joe Casey, it’s no wonder this line is growing so much."

    AFTERMATH STREET TEAM!
Hey everybody! We're forming an Aftermath Street Team to help promote the coolest new comic books hitting the stands!

Members will be expected to do things like downloading, printing out + distributing flyers to your local comic books shop, posting banner links on websites, and otherwise helping to promote the line. These tasks will earn you points towards cool Aftermath stuff and give you bragging rights for being a part of the action. Memebers will also be kept up to date with a newsletter and access to a private section on our forum.

Anyone can join that wants to help promote the Aftermath line, but you must sign up before you can begin collecting points.

Shortly we'll flesh this section out and provide more info on what's happening ... in the meantime you can get the ball rolling by shooting an email to amstreetteam@devilsdue.net, asking to be notified when we go live.
